Barking Dog Tattooz has relocated to Spokane, Washington. As of October 15th 2010 we are now officially open for business. I have found Spokane so far to be a very friendly and accommodating town with very cool and laid-back people here. We are located on East Sprague Ave in what is called The International District, a quaint little area that used to be rather rambunctious some years back, but is still colorful enough to have a few hookers here and there and a topless bar down the block with a couple of high end thrift and what-not stores on either end of the shop and some good eateries too. Perfect place for an Old School Tattoo Studio. I feel really blessed to be here, and look forward to living here and being of service to this community for a very long time. Military and Law Enforcement personnel discounts available. We need to give back to the folks who look out after our well-being. We are a Biker and Club folks friendly studio. Any and all are welcome so long as we are treated with courtesy and respect then it will be reciprocated in return.

Barking Dog Tattooz is dedicated to always raising the standard and quality of tattooing in any way we can. We have a warm and friendly atmosphere. Not just another McDonald's of Tattooing Meat Market. We genuinely care about our clientele and wish for them to have a pleasant and cool experience at this studio. No matter what you choose to have tattooed on you, we believe that every customer here gets taken through a rite of passage to some degree or other and in that we hope your experience here enhances the quality of your life, in some small or large way whatever the case may be. I am a clean & sober tattoo artist. I don't care what you do, that's your business and none of mine. I just feel I owe it to our clientele to have my mind right while working on you. And any artists working here now or in the future will not be under the influence of anything accept a heightened sense of artistic inspiration while working on you.

[A footnote about Mississippi] I'd like to personally thank all the great people on the Mississippi Gulf Coast who have shown me such gracious hospitality since I came out from Los Angeles so many years ago and was working at Biloxi Beach Ink and King Pin Tattoo on up until I opened Barking Dog Tattooz in Gulfport. As well as all the Military: Navy, Air force, Marines, & Army folks who had been such a big part of our patronage there in MS, and I personally thank all of them for the duty, courage, service, and sacrifices they perform for our country.
Mississippians are some real special people. My gratitude goes out to any and all who came through our doors for their support and friendship down through the years.
Blessings, Blane Hoffman
As of 10/13/11 we've been open here in Spokane a year now. A few words about our new digs and local peeps. I just wanted to thank all our new clients in Spokane,Washington for taking the time to check us out, get some work and then bring their friends and family members to Barking Dog Tattooz. Its hard opening a new business in a place where nobody knows you. But the locals of Spokane and surrounding areas have made us feel right at home here. We also appreciate the cordial visit and compliments about the shop from Spokane Mayor, Mary Verner. In short, Thanx , Spokane, you're a great bunch of folks. Blane Hoffman.
